KUALA LUMPUR, 20 September 2017 - Mr. Sheikh Saad Allehyani, Chairman of World Halal Centre and Mr. Hamzah Mohd. Salleh, Professor & Dean of International Institute for Halal Research and Training (INHART) from International Islamic University of Malaysia signed strategic partnership agreement at the Saudi Arabia Embassy, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
The occasion was witnessed by the Saudi Arabia Ambassador to Malaysia, H.E. Mahmoud Hussien Saeed Qattan, in recognising the mutual interest and benefit in strengthening co-operation with reference to halal industries development program within a framework.
This is in pursuit of their desire to co-operate in defined areas which include training and education on halal related matters, exporting halal executive & halal auditor talents to global market, co-operation with various international halal organization, cooperation in the development of halal talents for mutual benefit, the development of halal analysis and scientific validation laboratories and premises as well as any other areas of co-operation to be mutually agreed upon by the parties.
This collaboration marks a strong inclination by both parties to strengthen, promote and develop halal innovation and technology for mutual benefit.
